Greetings everyone!
Just thinking about Bali hits a soft spot in  my heart. *sigh*

The name's Anthonia, and let me take you on a virtual journey to a few places in Bali.

The cliff of Uluwatu

The amazing place above is in Uluwatu.
Though this is my second visit here, the view is still as breathtaking as it was for me the first time around.
 The feeling was just surreal.

I've also managed to watch the 'Kecak' with the sweet backdrop of the multiple gradient of colours filling up the sky this time.
I did find myself drifting away during the performance.

                                            Tirta Empul Temple

I would call the visit to Tirta Empul Temple as an enlightening & a very spiritual journey.
The water from the temple is considered holy and the different outlet of where the water goes out each have a different healing purpose ranging from protection for the family to health matters.
I did managed to wash my face and head with the water and I felt rejuvenated after.

A picture of us with the experts.

The other visit that was not part of the tour was the spa treatment where Edna, Yvonne, Tracy & myself went to.
Mayura Beauty Salon was the name.

Edna & Tracy got themselves a full body massage. While Yvonne being the ticklish one, cancelled her full body massage & got herself a body scrub & masker instead. Me on the other hand got myself a full body massage & scrub.

It was Tracy, Yvonne & my first time going to a spa. Edna on the other hand, is used to getting massages at home.
We requested to be put together in a room.

The experience was quite funny from the start as we were asked to strip from our clothes and were asked to wear this quite transparent-black disposable underwear.
Thank goodness for the dim lighting!

We were laughing our heads off because well we were partitioned from each other only by curtains.

When the session started, all of us were still talking and giggling. 15 minutes into it, all us literally became quite because the massage was just relaxing.
Only Balinese traditional music filled up the atmosphere.

After sometime, we were asked to lie on our backs.
We started laughing again when our bosoms & inner thighs were massaged because we were not expecting any of that. To make things worse, I was directly under the AC. Goosebumps everywhere. GOOSEBUMPS.

We showered after the spa & were served with sweet ginger tea to relax. Our skin felt like a baby's butt.

That was my experience in Bali. The highlight of the trip for me is very obvious from what I've just shared.

It was worth all the hardships, sweat, tears, laughter, drama among many other in making this fantasy & dream come true.
